I tried
establishing multiple companies, however most of them ended in
failure, making zero income. I tried lots of different strategies. I
learned from my up-lines to make a list; talk to family and friends
and apply the three-foot rule. In other words, talk to anyone that
comes within 3feet of me. That rule began to get old because at times
I could not get anyone to talk to me or if I was able to talk to
people, all I seemed to get was rejection. I called a list of over
1000 leads. Let me tell you a huge telephone bill and not to mention a
pricey list of names did not get me anywhere. I thought, “Maybe I am
doing this wrong, maybe I need more training”, so I purchased books
and tapes. I read all the books and listened to all the tapes. I now
felt I was ready for another leads list. This time it was supposed to
be “good” leads. I started calling with the new knowledge I had
gained, and my newfound courage. I tackled that list with my life but
to no benefit. It was enough to just about make a person go crazy.
You can probably
imagine the thoughts I had when I still had no success. I started to
question the WHOLE thing. How is my up line doing it? How do they get
all the people in? How? Help me. I noticed that one of the up lines
had figured out a way to get people who were interested in the
business to him. All he had to do was show the people how the program
worked and they were in. I said to myself out loud, “I want some of
those!” So, I sought the help of my brother and off we went, searching
